It has become a signature drink for many of you and led to an array of thirst-quenching spinoffs, from Peach Margaritas, to Blackberry Margaritas, to Grapefruit Margaritas. This spicy margarita is based on my master Skinny Margarita recipe. I am a busy bee but somehow find time to indulge in some of my many passions: dancing, photography, sewing and interior design. 6 ounces ( cup) Tequila (reposado) 4 ounces ( cup) Grand Marnier or Cointreau 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) Fresh Lime Juice 2 ounces ( cup) Agave Syrup 4. Margaritas taste of fun times, warm sunshine, and few worries. Top with 3 cups of ice cubes and blend until smooth and slushy. Agave nectar is hard to mix into cold liquids, so you will have to shake your shaker quite vigorously to get it to mix. A great twist championed by Nick Caputo is the Toreador, which switches out the triple sec for apricot brandy to give a fruity twist. ![]() Put the peeled limes into the blender and pour in tequila, Cointreau, and agave syrup. 25ml agave syrup (50:50 mixture of agave syrup and water) Method: Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. I have to attest, that it truly IS the way to a man's heart! In my opinion, there is nothing more admirable to hold then the truest essence of a homemaker, or as the term is coined today "household engineer"! Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of the glass and the dip the outside of the rim of the glass in kosher salt.
